The upcoming Super Robot Wars Z 2 has received it’s first promo video, shown below. This is comprised of the game’s opening cinematic, so nothing gameplay related but it looks very cool nonetheless. 4Gamer also has some coverage regarding the fact that this game will be part of the 20th Anniversary of SRW (as the first game was released on the GameBoy way back in 1991). To commemorate this announcement, three PSone SRW games will be released on the 26th January via the Japanese PSN store. These are SRW2, SRW3 and SRW EX. For those that want to pre-order SRWZ 2 then you can do so here, in advance of its April 14th release.

By “three PSone SRW games will be released on the 26th January” do you mean that they will be released on the PSN store, or as a retail product?
You know how there is the classic PSOne section on the PSN? Banpresto will be adding those three SRW games on to it.
That’s what I was referring to: whether they would be on the PSN store or if they were getting some other kind of release.
Hm…from the pictures I assumed those three games were coming with the LE. So what does come with the LE?
As much as I liked those games back in the day (especially EX on SFC) there is no way I’m ever playing them again. Really really really cheap battle scenes that cannot be skipped just make them the biggest chore. I draw the line at F/F Final and up.
I was going to pre-order it… until play-asia told me that they can’t ship it to the UK due to licensing reasons (even though they shipped SRW J and K to me in the past)….
Considering how excited for this game I am this is a major disappointment…
That’s not due to licensing issues, but down to Sony Europe barring imports for the PSP and PS3. This site ships to the UK though:
