In addition to a lovely JAM Project concert at this year’s Tokyo Game Show, 2nd Super Robot Wars OG also received a new promo that was also displayed at the show. Showing more units and their animations, it’s looking very lovely. The use of the camera pans and elements of perspective are still suitably impressive. You can pre-order the game here.

I honestly hope Forte Gigas will be an obtainable bot for the game, the SR original bots and their combined form were a lot more interesting and deadly than the four original RR bots in SRW-D.
has the release date changed on this? I could have sworn the original pv said sept 29th, now it just says coming soon. (or maybe I was just imagining things).

Broken record, I know, but I have to ask. What’s the forecast on this getting a NA PSN release? They’re all originals!
depends on who the publisher would be. As far as I’m aware Atlus refused to publish OGs on PS2 because the two GBA games didnt sell enough to warrant it. If that’s still the case then its doubtful we’ll ever see it in the west (and thats a double shame for people like myself in the UK who never even got the GBA ones – gotta love region free gaming)
I’m pretty pumped for this game, even if it will probably take another 2 years after it comes out for Mark Neidengard to get around to finishing one of his guides for it.
