It’s been announced that the long awaited Blu-Ray release for Macross Do You Remember Love? will also in fact be a hybrid game disc like the last two Macross Frontier movies. The game, very likely developed by Artdink, will be called “My Boyfriend is a Pilot 2012”. Not only is 2012 an important year for the saga, as it marks its 30th Anniversary, but it also is the date in which Macross Flashback 2012 is set (this will also be included in the Blu-Ray box set apparently). This isn’t the first time the classic movie has been rendered in game form either, as there was an excellent 2.5D shooter on the PSone and Saturn as well as the rather wonderful PS2 game (not to mention all the PSP games too). The disc will be released on the 26th July this year and come in two versions; standard and a boxset. The standard disc will cost 7,140 yen and the box set at 13,800 yen.

I think I want this. 13,800円 is cheaper than my LD of just the movie cost, not to mention Flashback 2012 and the game/minigame.
Lol, I love the screen cap for this.
“You are Max Sterling. Let’s see what you have to say about this shit blowing up.”
“Ohhh, your target looks neeerrrvooouuss…spoiler alert! Don’t rough her up too bad, though; wouldn’t want to spoil an opportunity for Micro Human / Giant Meltrendi sex, now.”
….Wait…why would an alien power suit even have a camera that would be compatible to even communicate with a VF-1 human fighter jet mech…how are they tuned into the same communication frequency, and why would they allow such banter in the middle of a dogfi- *head explodes*
AMI AMI has it as cheap as my Gundam UC Unicorn col. ed. , so thats another import for me to consider .
A PS3 Macross game based on ’84 movie with a bluray of that movie (and Flashback 2012 ) ?
Time to sell some blood , hook me up nurse!
