As we mentioned previously, the just released Gundam Musou 3 will receive its first batch of DLC on December 22nd (oddly co-inciding with the release of Virtual On Force no less). The DLC will be split into three mission packs, costing a 100 yen each (on PS3) or 80 Microsoft Points (on 360). There will also be multiple new mobile suits attached to each pack. Whilst we already knew about the GNX-Y901TW Susanowo and NZ-666 Kshatriya, according to 4Gamer there will also be the GN-006 Cherudim Gundam, GN-007 Arios Gundam and GN-008 Seravee Gundam included too. It’s apparent in any case that DLC will be quite vigorously supported for the game, whether that any of it will make it out of Japan come Gundam Musou 3’s inevitable Western release remains to be seen though. Still, we’re just happy to see the Musha Gundam and Musha Gundam Mk. II from the first Gundam Musou game again.
Ah! I simply can’t wait to get my hands on this game.
It will be so fun to finally use a Talgeese and play online with a few friends.
The DLC this time ’round, sounds much better than the last game’s DLC.
Dynasty Warriors is a pretty awful franchise, but god help me if I don’t love these Gundam installments.
I’m also super impressed with the Hokuto no ken, musou title. Koei, I think, is finally stepping up their game. (no pun intended)
Also, has there been any word on an “original mode” like from the first DWG game? I really enjoyed that mode, it was really fun, and pretty nicely done. I was sad that they left it out in 2.
I think the Original Mode from Musou 1 was better than that of 2’s. It had a universal plot (which made Musha Gundam an actual character as well)
I’d personally prefer more DLC mechs for older shows, not just more units from 00. Why, still, only 2 from G Gundam? Plenty are perfect for this title, but, I’d rather not go on a rant for that.
I wouldn’t bet on that just yet. There’s DLC yet to come, maybe lots of it.
We may yet, see the addition of Sandrock, shenlong, more from G, X, maybe even 08th MS Team.
Though I think we can all agree that we want more. always more. There will never be enough MS.
Also, I love that they put Knight Gundam in. what a nice touch.
