Namco Bandai have released a new trailer for Gundam Breaker for the PS3/Vita. This video shows off more of the customization options players can have with the different units in the game. From the RX-78-02 Gundam with Zaku II arms to a Strike Freedom GM, the different parts will alter your ability to move, attack, and defend. The customization options look similar to how the MS Saga RPG for the PS2 allowed players to mix and match different mobile suit parts and create units of their liking.

Maybe I’m a bad Gundam fan for saying this…but this game does not appeal to me in the slightest bit. I think it looks pretty stupid.
Its the large scale mecha which – don’t – do it for me.
Really wish they’d just make a turn based or even real time STG for consoles.
I think the biggest mistake is the overly dramatic music when this entire thing just looks hilarious. I kinda want it, but I’ll have to wait to hear how good it really is. I hope the arm type isn’t explicitly tied to what weapons you can use.
I want to like this, I love the concept, but it seems to lack any spirit or art whatsoever.
All I care about is the mechanics. If it plays well, I will be satisfied. It was looking like a Gundam Musou rehash in the first trailer, but now it seems a lot faster and more interesting. Though it remains to be seen whether kitbashing will actually allow for meaningful choices about configuration a la Armored Core, or if it’s mainly a cosmetic thing.
I’ve got to agree with u on the armored core comparison!
Im in the minority , the idea is to use a sandbox and play with Gunplas and then bash together new mobile suits with parts of the defeated mobile suits .
I believe they are going to add more mobile suits with codes in actual gunpla to make things more dynamic for Bandai . Once it’s out we’ll know .
It’ll probably be the closest thing to a Beginner’s G game, so I’m all up for it.
I seriously hope they do more than just diorama’s, this game looks a bit stepped up from crossfire in a way and ms saga
Basically from what ive seen, all they need to do is Make the Graphics as realistic as possible, and make every last part (arms,Lrgs, ect) has a good moveset or a good number of combos !!! Cant help But Feel that Battle Operations and MS Saga should have been fused with this game!!! XXXDDD
