What seems to be the entire newly animated opening movie for the Zone of the Enders HD Collection is now available online for everyone to see. Animated by Sunrise, it was specially commissioned for the new HD collection. There’s also a brief interview with Kojima online too, though this more importantly shows the new HD gameplay in action. Very pretty. I do like the Vic Viper getting some significant love in this opening, but strangely enough, I miss the narration from Anubis during the opening sequence. At least they picked the better song, IMO.
As for the gameplay, kinda looks the same as what I remember from the PS2, just slightly shinier. I’ll still likely pick up the game, but maybe not right away.
