News: Gundam Extreme Versus Trial Missions Update

In a new update over at 4Gamer, they’ve gone into more detail about the Trial Mission setup in the upcoming PS3 port of Gundam Extreme Versus. From the addition of battleships that will now fly through the environment dispensing mega particle love, there will also be some new mobile armors included too. With the MA-05Ad Big Rang being a somewhat odd choice. Interestingly, you can also destroy the battleships too. To make these new missions more interesting the game will also feature increased amounts of cannon fodder, whilst not at Gundam Musou levels of enemies it does look more than the average battle in the Gundam Versus series. Considering how close we are to release now, as the game’s out at the beginning of December, we can’t wait to finally get our hands on this.

But, yeah, where’s our “console exclusive suits” announcement Bandai! That’s what I’m waiting for.
Any word if American owners need a JP PSN account to play online?
I seem capable of playing 0081 online with my normal PSN account, so I imagine not, but I can’t be completely sure. I’m not sure the networks are even actually separate.
Guess they’re not separated, I used to play ACFA with japanese people on my NTSC PS3 with a normal account and an American IP.
I regularly play a couple of US region titles online using my UK psn account so you should be fine. The only problem I can see is that you’ll need a Japanese account to download any DLC. You just have to download it with that account. If you install it using the account that you play on you should be fine (at least thats what playing Blazblue has taught me)
Now if they’d only make the canon fodder playable, or at least selectable for AI units in versus mode.
Oh man! Please make a European or at least an American version out of this Bandai!!
