Videos: Front Mission Evolved Interactive Trailer and PV

As the release date for Front Mission Evolved looms ever closer, the marketing campaign is going into overdrive. From appearances of the game at GamesCom to a somewhat spurious “interactive trailer” (linked below). We’re still a bit sceptical about the game, as the wanzers appear a tad twitchy. In any case, we’ll know for sure when it’s released at the end of September.

I wish that they showed the medpack on the Frost, but I only watched the first video of that so they may have shown it on the other.
I hope this will be good, but I understand what you mean by twitchy. Maybe this game will be a sleeper hit on the PC. The game has no lock on mechanism outside of shoulder weapons it seems, and frankly I think the video is PvE not PvP. The enemy wanzers get destroyed too fast, if that was PvP then this game is like CS with Mechs lol.
I noticed that they were getting headshots too on the enemy wanzers.
It would be a strange turn of fate if this game is good while Ace: R turned out mediocre.
I can already say if I play this game, I’m probably going zook/shoulder weapons or medic kit.
@Obiyer: Best thing anyone can do–just wait and see. I’m hoping it will be good too, but…ah hell, the worst I can do is rent it and it turns out to be awful. At least I didn’t waste $60+ bucks on it.
But it is true–it would be bizarre if FM:E is a great, solid game while ACE:R is just mediocre.
